CLIMRisk - Climate change adaptation measures in the management of natural and environmental risks
At the dawn of the 21st century the theme ' climate change ' makes daily headlines of major media worldwide. Although at a national level just consequences of considerable magnitude are reported locally the effects of these changes are felt through the droughts, heat waves, forest fires, floods, among others. Therefore, and at a national level, a organizational change through the actions of the National Civil Protection Authority (ANPC) and local authorities is needed.
The eminent need for solutions triggered the project proposal ' CLIMRisk climate change adaptation measures in the management of natural and environmental risks ', as a starting point for a new line of applied research. The generic objective will be to assign to all the variables the same importance, centralize all information in a geodatabase and analyze it in an integrated manner all results.
